After becoming a Maryland Master Naturalist (Fall 2024), completing the UMD Horticulture Certificate (Winter 2025), and volunteering at Herring Run Nursery since spring of 2024 (a native plant nursery), Kelly has used her Growing With It platform to focus on environmental and ecological issues and how designing our landscapes with native plants and wildlife habitat in mind can impact the lives of the insects, birds, and other creatures that we share space with on this Earth.
